Peggy Engelkemier, MHA, BSN, RN
Director of Workforce Development Solutions
Peggy has served as Director of Workforce Development Solutions for careLearning since 2006. She has a Bachelor’s in Nursing from West Virginia University and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Marshall University. Peggy is a Registered Nurse and provided patient care, survey readiness, and staff education, including serving as the primary contact for careLearning at a healthcare organization, for years prior to joining the team.
Peggy is well versed in national standards and regulations and uses her knowledge to ensure careLearning’s courses are up to date and in compliance. Her years of experience in adult education allow her to create effective self-paced online and in-person training for healthcare employee education. She offers industry best practice guidance in developing curricula for our clients. Peggy also uses this experience to oversee careLearning’s online performance and competency management system, careSkills.
Peggy and her husband have five kids and two grandkids, so her “free” time is usually spent at practice, a game, or in the concession stand.
